Ian McShane of B&A looked at 10 year trends from the

Establishment Survey showed us that the quality of TV sets in the

home has improved exponentially over the last decade with HD
TV’s and Smart TV’s showing large growth over the period.

2016 was a very exciting year for TAM Ireland as we launched VISTA

our strategy for measuring viewing across all devices and formats

and stage 1 of this strategy will be coming to fruition in 2017.

Of course TV is driven by great content and 2016 didn’t disappoint

A year where sport was to the forefront with the Euros, the

Olympics and of course that magnificent win when the might of

the Irish pack defeated the All Blacks for the very first time. The
